The Czech Disc Golf Association (ČADG) has joined the GLIDE project – an international Erasmus+ project that aims to show that disc golf can truly be accessible and that everyone can play it.
👴 Seniors
👧 Women and girls
🧑🦼➡️ People with disabilities
💸 People facing social barriers
GLIDE connects ČADG and disc golf clubs with social organizations. ČADG helps clubs better understand how to work with different groups of people, while the clubs will create and organize a total of 10 tailor-made disc golf events for social service organizations and their clients – creating opportunities for new sporting experiences, social connections and the joy of being active. 😎
ČADG is proud that there was such great interest from clubs in getting involved. The project partners ultimately became DGC Kalich Litoměřice, Budweis Discgolf Club, DGK Horníci Kladno, DGC Britannia Proboštov, DGT Prague Hawks, Animals Brno, Kobry Vacenovice, DG Dolphins Mohelnice, DGC Ostrava a Moravian Gators Nový Jičín Thank you for believing in the project and seeing its value. ❤
The GLIDE project aims to help establish long-term cooperation between disc golf clubs and local social service organizations and schools. We believe that disc golf has the potential to change the way communities approach sport and physical activity in general. 😉
Disc golf for everyone. Disc golf for you. 🥏
