Disc Golf Clubs

Disc golf clubs form the backbone of organised disc golf in the Czech Republic. They bring together players at every level — from beginners through to professionals — and contribute to the development of the sport at both local and national level.

Clubs organise tournaments, training sessions, leagues and community events, and they often take an active part in building and maintaining disc golf courses. Club membership also opens the way into the structure of the Czech Disc Golf Association (ČADG) and into taking part in how it runs.

Voting rights of clubs

Disc golf clubs hold a major influence over how the Czech Disc Golf Association runs and where it is headed. They decide on important matters through votes at the General Meeting, where they also elect the Executive Board and the Audit Committee.

The number of votes each club holds depends on the size of its membership base (counting members who are also ČADG members):

• up to 2 members (inclusive) — advisory vote only
• 3 to 10 members (inclusive) — 1 vote
• 11 to 35 members (inclusive) — 2 votes
• 36 to 100 members (inclusive) — 3 votes
• 101 to 250 members (inclusive) — 4 votes
• 251 or more members — 5 votes

When choosing a club we recommend considering, in particular:

• location and access to a course
• the club's focus (recreational or competitive)
• the club's activity (tournaments, training, youth coaching)
