DISC GOLF Class III Coaching Course

The Czech Disc Golf Association (ČADG) is opening an education programme for both future and current coaches. The course focuses on methodology, technique and running training sessions, with particular emphasis on working with children and young people.

Course fee

The fee depends on your membership status with the association:

• CZK 2,500 — individual ČADG members who are also members of a ČADG club
• CZK 3,000 — individual ČADG members without club affiliation
• CZK 4,000 — non-members of ČADG

Selection criteria

Course capacity is limited to 20 people. If demand exceeds capacity, participants will be selected in the following order of priority:

1. ČADG members (individual or club) who already run a junior group or youth training sessions.
2. Individual ČADG members who run a junior group.
3. ČADG members planning to start a junior group or training sessions in the 2025/2026 season.
4. Non-members of ČADG who currently run a junior group.
5. ČADG members not currently working with young players.
6. Other applicants.

Note: Place of residence will also be taken into account in order to keep travel costs down for participants.

Course content and certification

The course combines theoretical preparation (pedagogy, safety, running a junior group) with hands-on practice (throwing technique, putting, indoor and outdoor games).

Requirements to receive the certificate:

• Attendance throughout the course programme.
• Submission of a final project on the topic: Designing a training unit and leading a disc golf game.

Logistics and accommodation

• Accommodation: Overnight stay possible at DDM Astra itself (own sleeping bag required).
• Meals: Participants cover the cost themselves (we will arrange a restaurant reservation plus light refreshments on site).
• Transport: Individual, at the participant's cost.
